The Department of Plant Pathology focuses on the study of plant diseases, their causes, and management strategies to protect crops and ensure sustainable agricultural production. Plant Pathology plays a vital role in safeguarding food security by minimizing crop losses caused by fungi, bacteria, viruses, and nematodes. The department integrates teaching, research, and field-based learning to address plant health challenges under the diverse agro-climatic conditions of Balochistan.
