Welcome to BAC

It gives me an immense pleasure to welcome the students joining the Balochistan Agriculture College, Quetta (BAC). BAC is first educational institution in the Balochistan imparting agricultural education not only to the students of the province but also the students of other provinces.
The BAC was established in 1986 on the directive of President of Pakistan after realizing the immense need for professionals in the field of agriculture. The college is affiliated with University of Balochistan to award degree of B.Sc.(Hons.) and M.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture. BAC has produced more than 1300 graduates and 60 post- graduates in various disciplines of Agriculture. The annual intake of the college is 200 students in under graduate programs. It provides the best facilities and environment to the students with large classrooms, equipped science laboratories and computer laboratory with high speed internet facility. It also has a library having a collection of more than 6000 HEC recommended books.<br/>
The college conducts other facilities including co-curricular, extra-curricular activities, competitions, different programs time to time. College also arranges field visits , Pakistan tour for the students in order to give them exposures. The college also has well educated and skilled academic staff having highest degree of PhD. Today the graduates of BAC are serving the province in diverse agriculture related areas in different capacities. It is up to the newly admitted students to take advantage of the facilities available at the college and adorn themselves with education in the field of agriculture to meet the challenges of tomorrow.
