The office of the Director Advanced Studies at Balochistan Agriculture College is constantly striving for excellence in order to promote quality research among postgraduate students in various disciplines of agriculture. • Designing standardized post graduate admission policy owing to the availability of research Advisers.
• Application processing for the admission in various departments through standard National Testing System.
• Maintenance of record of master students.
• Checking of GS-10 forms (i.e. Course Code, Course Titles and Credit Hours) and Thesis Credit Hours
• Notification of Research Titles and Supervisory Committees
• Formatting and approval of synopsis and thesis
• Deadline for the submission of synopsis and thesis
• Coordination with scrutiny committee for the standardization of synopsis, research thesis and proper formatting
• Notification of thesis defense
• Verification of research publications
• Approval and Notification of external and internal examiners for thesis evaluation and arranging the final viva voce of postgraduates following the rules of University of Balochistan
• Generating pilgrim report before hard binding
• Submitting viva result to the office of Controller of Examination

To coordinate with departmental coordinators / Head of Departments for expediting and timely awarding master’s degree to postgraduates

To coordinate with Registrar office for the semester enrollment, semester discontinuation and fee submission of postgraduate students

To coordinate with Controller of Examination for fulfillment of credit hours (Core and elective) and CGPA requirement of postgraduate students

To coordinate with security committee for standardizing research topics, objectives, plane of work and format adherence

To coordinate with Director of Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) for conducting college entrance test of postgraduates and ensuring thesis quality 

To coordinate with University of Balochistan for implementing necessary requirements of postgraduate degree programmes and special case permission

 To coordinate with the Principal of Balochistan Agriculture College, for instructions and circulations
