Balochistan Agriculture College, Quetta, in collaboration with the Biochemistry Department, University of Balochistan (UOB), and the Plant Breeding and Genetics Department, successfully organized a 2-day workshop on Molecular Biology Techniques and Bioinformatics approaches.

The workshop, supervised by Dr. Ghulam Rasool Lashari and supported by dedicated faculty members, including Dr. Sohail Sahib and Dr. Muhammad Javid Hasani focused on Molecular genetic approaches, DNA extraction DNA amplification using PCR and RT-PCR machines, qualitative and quantitative analysis.

Students from Balochistan University, Sardar Bahadur Khan University, and BUITEMS actively participated in the workshop, engaging in hands-on practical sessions under expert supervision.

Principal Prof. Abdul Razzaq Reki delivered the keynote address, commending the collaborative efforts of both departments and expressing appreciation for the resource persons’ valuable contributions.

The Principal assured his support for future academic collaborations, emphasizing the importance of advancing research in biotechnology and genetics.

The participants expressed gratitude to the Principal for his encouragement and support, making the workshop a resounding success.
