In a major step towards sustainable agriculture, Honourable Secretary Agriculture Mr. Noor Ahmed Pirkani inaugurated a three-day training workshop on Laser Land Leveling at Balochistan Agriculture College, Quetta. Organized by the UN-Revival of Water Resources Management, the initiative focuses on equipping Agronomy and Soil Science students with practical skills in precision land leveling to conserve soil and water.

The workshop provides hands-on training in using laser technology to enhance irrigation efficiency and minimize soil erosion. Principal Prof. Abdul Razzaq Reki emphasized the importance of bridging academic knowledge with field application, thanking resource persons for their contributions.

This collaborative effort by the Government of Balochistan, the UN program, and the college aims to strengthen future agricultural professionals and promote effective water management practices across the province.
