Presenting the Department of Agricultural Economics, a cornerstone for agricultural development in the province.
Our department boasts six dedicated faculty members committed to teaching and research.
Five faculty members hold PhDs, specializing in rural development, poverty alleviation, climate change economics, environmental economics, and groundwater economy, contributing advanced research expertise and academic leadership.
One faculty member with an MSc provides crucial teaching and research support.
We currently nurture 8 enrolled students:
1 Master’s (MSc Hons.) engaged in research and coursework, and 8 Bachelor’s (BSc Hons) receiving theoretical and practical training.
Empowering youth and community members through vocational training for tangible impact.
- The Department facilitates vocational and hands-on training for deserving and talented youth and community members.
- Our recent NAVTTC program on Agribusiness successfully trained approximately 20 individuals, equipping them with valuable skills
