Undergraduate

Students take four semester general courses of agriculture along with Introductory Genetics in 3rd semester and Introductory Plant Breeding in 4th semester after the admission. Major Department is to be allocated in 5th semester as his/her personal choice and interest. By fulfilling the criteria and merit of Department he/she would serve four semesters in respective Department. Undergraduates who specialize in Plant Breeding and Genetics learn the application of genetics to improve cultivated plants in preparation for successful careers in research, industry, agricultural extension, government, and international programs.
